Brother Nick, I am glad you relaunched the "Baptist Muse." I have missed it.

I serve as the pastor of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Columbus, GA (since Nov. 1999). Also serve as President of Columbus Baptist School of Ministry, which offers a four-year bachelor program in Missions or in Pastoral Ministries. The college is a ministry of Lighthouse and trains through the classroom and life-on-life mentorship.

My preaching is expositional and systematic. I believe that is the best way to build believers. The line-upon-line teaching/preaching of God's Word instills knowledge of what God has said.

I enjoy writing. I philosophize and ponder theological and cultural issues on my personal blog (www.pastorwynn.com). I also enjoy website building and am beginning to launch a site for that purpose (www.MasterSiteCreations.com).

It has been my privilege to be happily married since July 7, 1979. Kathy and I have two wonderful children that are serving the Lord. My son, Stephen, is getting ready to go to the mission field of Brazil (along with his soon-to-be wife, Karissa). My daughter, Stephanie, and her husband, Dan, serve in the ministry at Lighthouse. Most of you probably don't know this, but I met Pastor Wynn when I was looking for a church to attend during my days at Airborne School at Fort Benning, GA. I got stuck in Airborne hold for 5 weeks and then had 3 weeks of school which left me with 8 weeks to get to know Pastor Wynn and the folks in the church there. It's a great place with great people.

As Nick said, I met him while he was temporarily stationed at Fort Benning. He and his wife were an incredible blessing to our church. We all wish they could have stayed here.

As soon as things settle down after my pastors open heart surgery, I need to talk to you about designing a LONG overdue website for our church. I have been given the task as the only quasi-technical guy in our congregation and I know just enough about computers to be dangerous and that's about it. I know computer hardware, and can fix and/or build any computer you want, but I am woefully ignorant of software applications and certainly couldn't design a website.
